HOW DO I REMAIN ANONYMOUS ?

We only want your information, not your name.

When you call 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) your phone number will not be displayed, you will speak to a call taker who will NEVER ask  you to identify yourself. Tell the call taker your information and it will be sent onto us to make sure it goes to the right agency.

When you submit a tip online your IP address will NEVER be recorded, so there is no way of tracing the computer/smartphone where the tip came from.

REWARDS

If you submit a tip and it leads to a person being arrested and charged with a crime, enables the recovery of stolen property or drugs, or solves a crime, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.00. Each tip is individually assessed carefully before a reward amount is given.

To find out the conclusion of your tip you can either call us between 12:30pm-3:30pm every Tuesday afternoon, at 1-800-222-8477 or if you have submitted your tip online send us a message via your original tip.

By providing information that Crime Stoppers will share with law enforcement agencies, you are providing an important and valuable public service.  We fully understand that disclosure of your identity might put you at risk and we do everything we can to protect your anonymity. However, that anonymity may be open to challenge in the following situations:
Do not send any sexually explicit images or videos because they will be forwarded directly to law enforcement and the sender’s anonymity cannot be assured. These will not be treated as a Crime Stoppers tip and will not be eligible for a reward.
