Saanich Police are investigating an Armed Robbery that took place at a convenience store in Burnside Road West. The crime happened on October 8^th at about 1:25am.

The suspect entered the store and threatened the staff with a black revolver style handgun, they demanded cash and cigarettes. Once the suspect had got what they asked for they left the shop. It is believed they escaped on a bicycle.

The witness has described them as 6’1”, slim build, with a male voice. They were wearing an orange and dark blue toque, a grey/black face covering, grey hoodie, red/black flannel shirt, medium washed jeans, black shoes, black and grey work gloves.
