West Shore Bank Robbery

The West Shore RCMP is currently investigating a Robbery that took place on April 2nd at approximately 2:15 p.m. at Scotia bank located at unit 116-3004 Merchant Way in Langford.
Investigators learned that a male suspect entered the bank brandishing a firearm and demanded money from the teller. The suspect collected an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank running up Kelly Rd toward Jenkins Ave.
West Shore RCMP Frontline officers along with the Serious Crimes Unit and Police Dog Service were on scene within minutes, however the suspect remains at large. No one was injured in this crime and a firearm was recovered by police.
- Police are looking for a male suspect who is described as:
-male with light colored skin
-approximately 5’5 tall
-slim build
-wearing all black toque, tee shirt with white graphics on the front, pants and sunglasses as well as black shoes with white soles
