Help Find Red the Stolen Puppy
Red the Redbone Coon Hound was stolen out of his owners car on Friday 22 September 2017. The car was parked by Save On Foods at Tillicum Mall. It was around 11.30am. There has been a potential sighting of him Downtown Victoria but at this time it has not been confirmed.

Robbery on Island Highway
West Shore RCMP is looking to identify the woman in the pictures, who robbed a business in the 1800 block of the Island Highway. She is described as white, late 40’s to early 50’s, with brown hair and was said to have a deep woman’s voice. She drove off in a dark sedan with a passenger.

Vandalism
Over the summer months, a group of vandals have been hard at work damaging a building in the 2400 block of Arbutus road. Graffiti was drawn over walls, windows were smashed and a fire extinguisher let off. Saanich Police dept would like to know who is behind these crimes.

Licence Plate Thief
Saanich Police are looking to identify the female in the pictures, who was captured on surveillance video stealing licence plates from a vehicle. Local Police are warning couples getting married that thieves are targeting gift envelopes in the Greater Victoria Area. Mystery Lady
Saanich Police are asking your help to identify the female shown in these pictures. She tried to open a bank account with somebody else’s identity.
In addition to the pictures she is described as white, approximately 5ft 3” and in her 30’s. Her hair is brown and was tied up in a messy bun.

Suspicious Fire
Saanich Police are looking for information anyone might have with regards to a suspicious fire that took place on June 6 in the 4300 block of West Saanich Road.
The fire destroyed 2 BC Hydro Vehicles, with damages estimated at over $80,000.00.

Theft from Vending Machines
Police are investigating a recent rash of thefts from Vending Machines throughout the Greater Victoria Region. Thieves are gaining access to the cash boxes by drilling out the lock mechanism before making off with the money inside.

Victoria & Saanich Police are looking for the individual responsible for tagging numerous sites in both areas with the words “Kill Cops”.

Theft of Solar Panels & Batteries
Saanich Police are currently investigating several thefts of solar panels, 12v deep cycle batteries and copper wire from mobile message boards around Saanich. Total value of damaged and stolen property is close to $10,000.00.

Graffiti
There has been an increase of graffiti being drawn in the Greater Victoria area. Beckwith Park in particular has been targeted. Saanich Police are investigating a series of tags that have been left there.
In 2017 graffiti so far has cost over $5000.00 to clean up.

Break & Enter in Saanich
Saanich Police are asking your assistance to solve a B&E that took place on March 6, 2017 in the 5000 block of Hunt Road. Thieves broke into several buildings on the property and stole thousands of dollars in Fishing equipment, a Kona Mountain Bike, 2 expensive construction lasers and a 2005 Kawasaki KX 250 Motocross motorcycle.

iPhone SE Theft at Tillicum Mall
Saanich Police are looking to identify a man who stole an iPhone SE from the Telus store in Tillicum Mall. The theft happened in January and it is hoped that the man can be identified by somebody. Sexual Assault in West Shore
Date of Crime: March 12, 2017
Time: Approximately 10:40pm
West Shore RCMP is investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman while she was jogging on the Galloping Goose trail near Pickford Road in Colwood. Stolen ATM
West Shore RCMP is investigating a Break and Enter that took place on March 6th at a Shell Gas Station located on West Shore Pkwy in Langford. Two Suspects rammed a Ford F250 through the glass doors and stole an ATM containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Stolen Credit Cards
Saanich Police are looking to identify this male suspect who is responsible for the use of stolen credit cards. The suspect made purchases with the stolen cards in the downtown area of Victoria. Stolen Property
VicPD are asking for your assistance in identifying thieves who broke into a business in the 800 block of Viewfield Rd over the Christmas Holidays, stealing a large metal shelving system. Thieves made off with 500 pieces of metal brackets worth $17,000.00. Break and Enter
On February 2nd a suspect broke into a shed by cutting the metal screen securing it closed. The property attacked was in the 3600 block of Harriet Road. Stolen was a distinctive mountain bike.
The model was a Knolly Endorphin 20 speed mountain bike. Its value is $5800.00. It is distinctive because it has been customised with white ”SPANK” rims and a matt black frame with black lettering on it.
The suspect discarded another bike in its place. This was a Rocky mountain bike.

Theft From Small Business
Saanich Police would like help in identifying the female shown. She is responsible for the brazen theft of a backpack at a business at Burnside Road East on Thursday 19th January. The bag had been briefly placed on the ground when she came and stole it. She later attended a nearby hotel where she discarded some of the items in the bag.
The stolen red Oakley backpack contained a higher than normal amount of cash as the owner was about to bank their business earnings for the week and pay their rent. Also stolen was a brand new I pod, a Sanyo surveillance camera, a large amount of loonies and toonies, and various phone chargers and cords.

$8000.00 in Stolen Appliances
Saanich Police are looking to identify the persons responsible for a Break and Enter of a home under renovation in the 4900 blk of Cordova Bay Road. Thieves stole $8000.00 in stainless steel appliances. The appliances stolen were a Frigidaire Pro Series double refrigerator gas range, wall oven, dishwasher and a Panasonic microwave. Counterfeit Money
Saanich Police are looking to identify the male in the pictures. It is suspected that on several occasions and different locations he purchased items with counterfeit money.

Art Theft
On November 5th, 2016 the unidentified male in the picture entered a business in the 900 block of Government Street and stole a jade carving valued at $4500.00. The suspect is described as a white male, late 30s to early 40s, 6’0, slim to average build, short balding light brown hair, and clean shaven. He was wearing glasses, a black suit jacket with a grey turtleneck, a poppy affixed to his jacket. Motorized Scooter Theft

B&E of a Church
Sometime overnight on Wednesday September 21, 2016, unknown culprit(s) broke into Our Lady of Assumption Church located at 7742 West Saanich Rd. The back room was ransacked and several items were taken. Bikes Stolen In Saanich
Saanich police are investigating a spate of bicycle thefts that have happened through September.
Three areas have been targeted, the university and its family housing, the Cedar Hill Cross Roads to Mckenzie Avenue area and between Burnside Rd E and Douglas Street.
The suspects have cut off locks in order to steal the bikes as well as removing them from car ports and in one case from a car’s bike rack.
Models of bikes stolen vary but include a gray Davinci Jack mountain bike with yellow accents, an orange Norco9.2 and 2 children’s BMX bikes.

Credit Card Theft & Fraud
Saanich Police are currently trying to identify these individuals who are responsible for the theft and use of a stolen credit card at a liquor store in the 3300 block of Douglas St. If you know who they are and want to remain 100% anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Break and Enter Home Depot
Saanich Police are investigating a break and enter that took place in the past week at Home Depot Shelbourne Street.
Suspects entered the locked section of the garden centre and stole a Dewalt Compressor and a Dewalt Miter saw. The combined value of the items taken is $1300.00.

Arson
Just after 7 a.m. on Tuesday August 2nd, VicPD officers and Victoria Fire Department firefighters were called to a grass fire in Reeson park, located in the 1200-block of Wharf Street. The fire was quickly extinguished without further incident and there were no injuries, despite the extremely dry conditions.
Witnesses told officers that a man had deliberately set the fire. Photographs of the man are below.
The person officers are looking to identify is described as a Caucasian male, standing five feet, nine inches tall, with a medium build, aged approximately 25-30 years. At the time of the fire, he was wearing a yellow hoodie, black pants with a red and white stripe down the leg, and a black cap with yellow writing on the brim. He carried a large duffel bag or backpack over one shoulder.

Oak Bay Police are currently investigating a day time residential B&E that took place on July 9, in the 2900 block of Foul Bay Road. Thieves broke a window to gain access to the home, where they found and stole $7500.00 worth of jewelry.
