ATM Thefts in Langford

The West Shore RCMP are currently investigating a break and enter and theft that took place on February 9th at about 3:48 am. Two suspects are seen breaking into a convenience store located on Happy Valley Road in Langford. Video surveillance shows one of the suspects hauling out the ATM machine.
Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying these two suspects.
Suspect #1: wearing a baseball cap, jacket and long pants.
Suspect #2: Wearing a hoodie with the hood up, winter jacket with possible fur collared hood, and long pants.
Similarly, On February 2nd just after 5:00 am, the West Shore RCMP received a report from a different convenience store on West Shore Parkway in Langford. The store employee reported an unknown male running into the store placing a tow wire around the ATM which was attached to a white F150 truck. The suspect then runs back to the truck and attempts to haul the ATM away using the tow rope. This attempt failed however when the tow wire snapped and the suspect took off empty handed. The corresponding file number for this incident is West Shore File 2019-1783.
